It’s so much fun to watch adorable, wobbly-legged puppies pounce and tumble all over each other, it’s easy to forget that there’s some important work going on when puppies play together. Along with building muscles and honing coordination, puppies at play are busy learning the fine art of canine-to-canine social interaction.

When they’re still with their littermates, young puppies begin to discover how to get along with other dogs through rough and tumble play supervised by their mother. For your new family member to grow into a balanced adult, it’s essential for your puppy to continue learning how to “speak dog” and make canine friends.

Puppy Play – Socialization

Doggie Central’s Puppy Play Sessions help you replace the experience of learning and socializing with littermates by bringing together groups of puppies up to twenty weeks of age. These youngsters learn how to get along with each other in a safe, indoor environment, supervised by both you the owners and a knowledgeable DC staff member. Even better than just playing with siblings, Puppy Play Sessions also introduce your puppy to a variety of other dog breeds and personalities. Add in the new sights, smells, and people, and a Doggie Central Puppy Play Session becomes an outstanding socialization tool.

Of course a Puppy Play Session is also a fantastic way to burn off some of that boundless puppy energy, which will help your puppy stay out of trouble at home and focus during formal training and informal teaching sessions.

Small and medium breed puppies may participate up to 20 weeks of age
Large breed and larger puppies may participate up to 16 weeks of age
First set of shots required (please bring vaccination record on your first visit)
